I've known Sarah since 2010, when we played high school softball together, but we lost touch and only reconnected years later as we were working in the same industry.
In 2019, a freelance client of mine requested a specific hand-drawn asset, and I knew Sarah could create just the thing I needed! We truly enjoyed working on this project together — so much so that I joined Swell Design part-time in 2021 while continuing to work as a graphic designer for a multi-national home organization brand.
In 2023, I was honored to join Swell Design as the first full-time team member (other than Sarah, of course), quitting my corporate job and jumping full-force into the rising Swell tides. As much more of an editor than a generator, I love taking a project from the beginning stages and continuing to build upon the direction that has been established. I thrive on taking feedback, recognizing patterns, and distilling information down to its simplest form. You can catch me nitpicking the details of a site that Sarah has developed, editing client copy, or ensuring all of the greens on your brand board are exactly the same!
If I'm not working, I'm probably hanging out with my cats, getting a tattoo (I have at least 37), working on an embroidery project, or playing Fortnite. I've lived all over (seven cities in three states), but I currently call Indianapolis home, and there's something so special about the diverse creative community here. I wouldn't have it any other way!
